This was a personal favourite of mine. As a lover of all things space technology, I had a lot of fun designing the advertising for this fictional exhibition. It all came from a viral tweet about the final moments of NASA’s Opportunity Rover on Mars, affectionately named Oppy by NASA’s scientists. I thought, ‘What if NASA had the chance to give Opportunity a proper sendoff?’ I decided to create an advertising campaign for fictional exhibition detailing the incredible work Opportunity accomplished during its time on Mars, and how the data it collected would benefit further research. I designed brochures, tickets, and a video for this campaign. The featured background on all the design collateral is a picture of the night sky, Opportunity’s final transmission before it went silent forever.
